Without Family You’re Nothing Chapter 1: Rising Up From The Ashes “Pippa have you seen my work tie?” Michael Ross called up the stairs “I put it in the wardrobe” Pippa called back down Kierain Geaney just looked into his Fruit Loops sulking, the month he’d spent with his foster grandmother Peggy Mitchell in Walford during the summer had been the best time he’d ever had. But now it was back to home life back to being ignored and perhaps the worst thing of all back to being teased by Vicki Baxter. “morning Sal” he said as his 11 year old foster sister walked in “DO YOU MIND WHEELS I’M LISTENING TO JUSTIN BEIBER ON MY IPOD!” She snapped back Kierain got up into his Wheelchair and left for school “Oi Kierain!” Paul Jensen called running up to him outside “hi Paul” Kierain said hopefully “Is Steven in?” Paul asked “Oh yeah he is” Kierain said feeling let down All Kierain Geaney wanted was something like a family and if you ever told anyone this he’d knock you straight out Peggy had always been a kind and caring person where he was concerned and her kids Phil Grant and Samantha were like siblings to him. Yet The Ross Family of Summer bay hadn’t really known he was there that is until a call came, A call that would change everything “Hi mum” Michael said as he answered the phone “MICHAEL DOUGLAS MITCHELL! I’M SICK OF THE WAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IGNORE KIERAIN HE IS COMING TO WALFORD WITH ME PERMINANTLY AND I SHALL BE THERE TO COLLECT HIM BY MORNING YOUR TIME!” Peggy yelled into the phone before hanging up. Kierain couldn’t believe his ears as he had wheeled in from school he was going to live with his Nan permanently. His heart did a little happy Dance No more being overlooked ignored and excluded no more Saddle Club with Sally and perhaps best of all time with his Nan whenever he wanted! Bobby Forever Missed Posted March 4, 2012 Report Share Posted March 4, 2012 Chapter 2 Ache Peggy had indeed arrived by morning Australian time “awight Kierain ready to be going?” she asked “Yeah let’s go Nan” he said “got a nice room set up for ya and all” Peggy said “YOU CAN’T GO” Michael snapped “OH SHUT UP YOU’RE NOT MY FATHER” Kierain snapped and Peggy wheeled him out the door “Now, now darling language” Peggy said to him as they got in the car Meanwhile in another part of the bay…. “LEAH I’M DONE WITH YOUR CONSTANT NAGGING “COME HERE MILES SIT MILES GOOD DOG MILES” I’M LEAVING AND TAKING VJ WITH ME” Miles Copeland yelled “YOU CAN’T TAKE VJ HE’S UNDER AGE ITS KIDNAP” Leah Patterson- Baker snapped back “EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP MUM I’M GOING WITH MILES AND YOU CAN’T STOP ME” VJ yelled before going to pack his stuff Meanwhile in a farm about a billion miles from anywhere “Dex give me my phone!” Sasha Bezmel demanded “I’m sorry but the device which you requested “phone” is unavailable at this time please consult our father for details” Dexter Walker replied sarcastically “DAD!” Sasha screamed “Sorry Sasha no phone till we land in this Walford place” Sid said “I still say we should’ve gone to Coronation Street” Indi whined “You say something?” Dexter asked Indi threw a pillow at Dex “ASSAULT” Dex yelled Peggy and Kierain arrived at Walford the next day “Welcome sweetheart” Peggy said Kierain rested against Peggy the jet lag and cold in Walford were taking their toll on him Peggy placed her jacket around him and carried him into the Queen Vic “you just rest there Darling I’m downstairs in the Bar if you need anything” she whispered before heading down Miles and VJ were the first of the Summer Bay gang to touch down in Walford “Err can I help ya?” Pat Butcher asked “What?!” VJ asked “Are you two lost?” Pat asked “Is there a hotel around?” Miles asked “Sorry love aint been a hotel in Walford since about 1900” Pat replied “Oh I see” Miles said “But you can stay with me Pat Butcher” Pat replied “Miles Copeland and this is VJ” Miles said “That’s it initials? Bobby Forever Missed Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 Chapter 3 Just A Girl Peggy went up to check on Kierain “Hey Nan shouldn’t you be running the bar?” he asked “Phil and Grant are love I wanted to spend time with my favorite Grandson” Peggy replied Peggy held Kierain close “I applied for custody of you today love Michael won’t get his hands on you” Peggy said to him “Thanks Nan” Kierain replied “My pleasure love” Peggy said Xavier Austin walked into the queen Vic shirtless “Oi you put a shirt on” Grant said “I can’t I was mugged they took my suitcase and my shirt” Xavier said “Wait there” Phil said and returned a moment later with a shirt “Hey thanks” Xavier said “No problem these geezers who mugged ya what did they look like?” Phil asked “covered in tattoos and muscle” Xavier said “Not the Braxtons AGAIN!” Phil snapped “sounds like it” Grant said ”hey can I get a coke?” Xavier asked “Oi were we talking to you Spot?” Grant asked Grant turned back to Phil Dex Indi Sid and Sasha arrived in the square “What a dump” Sasha complained “Yeah not even a hotel” Indi complained “Dex put the webcam down” Sid ordered “Ohhh but Dad I’m one video away from being better than that HammadMossop guy on youtube” Dex whined and didn’t listen “Oi what you starin at?” Shirley Carter asked “Um hello there I’m Sid Walker this is my son Dexter and my daughters Indigo and Sasha” Sid said “So?” Shirley asked “Is there a place we can stay?” Sid asked ”Go ask Heather Trott” Shirley said “And you STOP FILMING” She said to Dex Dex quickly put his laptop away The Walkers made their way to Heather’s “Um can I help you?” Heather asked “Pardon me miss but I’m Sid Walker my family and I are tourists in this place and there are no hotels can we stay with you?” Sid asked “yeah you can be on the Dexter Walker show” Dex added “Ignore him he’s got a terminal case of Geek Syndrome” Sasha said Heather showed them inside The next day Kierain was home alone while Peggy Grant and Phil were at the brewery A few hours later a car pulled up and the doorbell rang Kierain went downstairs and saw Brax and Heath through the peephole He looked away they knocked and rang the doorbell Kierain looked again as Heath looked too Kierain looked away then looked again “Looks like no one’s home you take the back I’ll do the front” Brax said Kierain raced upstairs into Peggy’s room and dialed the police The door was kicked in Kierain laid down beside Peggy’s bed and hid the phone Footsteps were heard downstairs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dot Cotton answered “I think someone’s breaking into my house” Kierain said “What’s your address? What’s your address?” Dot asked “Uh Queen Victoria Pub Walford London E20” Kierain answered “And what’s your name?” Dot asked “Kierain Geaney” Kierain replied “Kierain how do you know someone’s breaking into your house?” Dot asked “They just kicked down the door” Kierain answered “Okay they kicked on the door or kicked down the door?” Dot asked “Kicked down the door” Kierain answered “Okay and where are they now?” Dot asked “I dunno they’re in the front of the house somewhere” Kierain answered “Okay how old are you Kierain?” Dot asked “19” Kierain answered “I’m scared” he added ”yeah well the police are coming is there anyone else home with you?” Dot asked “No” Kierain said Brax and Heath came upstairs and took the TV Heath took the computer Feet are seen from Kierain’s POV as he’s lying next to the bed “They’re in the room” he whispered to Dot “They’re where?” Dot asked “They’re in the room” he whispered again “Okay don’t say anything then” Dot said The feet leave the room The police pull up as Brax is putting stuff in a car “GET DOWN ON THE GROUND GET DOWN ON THE GROUND GET DOWN” Officer 1 said pulling Brax to the ground Heath saw the police and ran back through the Queen Vic Officer 2 chased him and caught him a few miles away “What’d I do?” Heath asked “Up against the wall” officer 2 said “What’d I do?” Heath asked again “You’re under arrest for break and enter and theft” Officer 2 said Heath and Brax were arrested Kierain was coming down the stairs when Peggy ran in “Nan” he said as Peggy hugged him Grant and Phil were dispersing the onlookers outside “Move on folks show’s over” Phil said “Yeah nothing to see here” Grant said Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
